The third and final year at the B.H.M.S. Culinary Academy, leading to a Bachelor Degree in Culinary Arts, builds on students’ existing culinary competencies and experience to deepen and hone practical, leadership and business skills. Before the students can progress to their final industry placement and graduate positions, they have to do a final assessment and demonstrate their skills and creativity by preparing and serving a three-course menu.

On February 17th a major world-scale event of the hospitality industry took place at the Intercontinental in Kiev Ukraine. 380 guests from 21 countries of Europe gathered in one place in order to identify future trends of the hospitality industry, and project its development for the next couple of years.

This month, the students of the MSc in International Hospitality Business Management participated in a Specialist Seminar focused on Luxury Brands and Services Management.
It’s a 3-day seminar in which the participants were introduced to the Luxury sector to learn Branding principles, key elements and techniques, as well as, to accumulate the necessary Marketing and Brand Management knowledge by working on individual and group projects.
