Summer Camp in Switzerland

19 July 2026 - 2 August 2026 (2 weeks)

More than just a summer programme

At BHMS, we believe summer is about more than just learning, it’s about discovering who you are, meeting new people, and building friendships that cross cultures and borders. We create a safe, welcoming space where every student is supported, encouraged, and inspired to try something new. Whether it’s your first time away from home or your tenth international trip, you’ll find a community here that feels like family.

Our summer programmes are designed to spark curiosity and on new horizons, combining engaging discovery sessions with hands-on activities and creative workshops. Students are invited to step outside of their comfort zones, explore fresh interests, and gain confidence in their abilities while having fun. Beyond the classroom, cultural excursions and shared experiences create lasting bonds and a deep sense of belonging. The friendships made at camp often extend far beyond the summer, carrying memories and connections into the future.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Yes.
Students who attend the summer program and later enroll in Year 1 of a BHMS Bachelor’s degree are entitled to a full credit of their summer program fees — up to CHF 7,000 — applied directly toward their first-year tuition.

Students should have at least an A1 level or be motivated beginners with basic exposure to German. The focus is on practical, conversational German in a supportive environment — not academic fluency.

Both the Living Languages: English & German Immersion weeks include:

  • Approximately 4 hours per morning (Monday to Friday) of classroom-based learning
  • Plus continued language exposure through guided afternoon social activities and excursions (language in action)

Yes.
Students may join the language immersion weeks only. The program is intentionally structured to allow:

  • 1-week participation (English or German)
  • or ideally 2 weeks back-to-back for a stronger language and cultural experience

They are not required to register for culinary or hospitality weeks.

The official target age range is 16–20 years.
However, if a student is 15 or 15.5 years old and is motivated and mature, we will happily welcome them into the program — especially for the language immersion weeks.

For the culinary or hospitality weeks, 16+ is more appropriate due to the nature of the workshops.
