Five-star institution

We are one of only six institutions in Switzerland with a five-star rating (QS University Ratings). A five-star institution is characterised by its excellent global reputation, diverse international student body, state-of-the-art facilities, high-quality faculty, and high employability rates.

Unlike rankings, ratings offer an in-depth picture of the strengths and weaknesses of BHMS in specific areas. Using QS Stars when searching for a study programme makes your decision easier, allowing you to match your interests to the right university.

Institute of Hospitality

The Institute of Hospitality (IoH) Accreditation is a prestigious, international quality mark for our programmes. It verifies that our courses meet high, industry-relevant standards from craft to senior management levels, aiding student employability and offering global recognition.

American Culinary Federation Education Foundation

The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation (ACFEF) Accreditation is a voluntary, peer-reviewed quality assurance process for our culinary arts and patisserie programmes. Recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), it ensures our programmes meet high industry standards for curriculum, faculty, and facilities.
