Two main campuses

Located in the heart of Lucerne, our two main campuses provide you with comfortable rooms and modern amenities to help you feel at home throughout your time with us. Both campuses are within walking distance of each other and easily accessible by public transport. Additionally, classes take place in four other buildings all situated nearby. 

 

 

You will love the easy access to the historic downtown area, bustling with shops, restaurants and recreational facilities. Whether you're craving a shopping spree, a night out on the town, a leisurely stroll along the lakefront, or some exercise on one of the nearby running or bike trails, Lucerne has it all and more. 

Lakeside campus

Step back in time and immerse yourself in the elegant charm of our Lakeside campus, a historic hotel that captures the essence of sophistication from the turn of the 20th century. 

The facilities boast upscale student accommodation, state-of-the-art classrooms, four professional-grade kitchens for our culinary and pastry students, and a magnificent grand hall perfect for fine dining experiences and special events. 

Facilities at our Lakeside campus include:

  • Banquet hall used for events and our fine-dining restaurant

  • Lakeside Bar (run by students)

City Campus

Conveniently located near the historic old town and the iconic Gütsch Hotel, City Campus features our main student restaurant and administrative offices. With modern amenities, including spacious areas for socialising, cosy study corners, and comfortable rooms equipped with private kitchens and balconies, it's the perfect place to live and learn. 

Facilities at our City Campus include:

  • Finance and Admissions office (tuition, payment plans, visa administration)

  • Student counsellor

  • Internship office

  • City Campus restaurant

  • Student lounge and study area

  • Self-serve Starbucks café

  • Reception (open 24/7)

Academic facilities

Deeply rooted in city life, classrooms are found in three additional facilities all situated near our City Campus. 

  • St-Karliquai: 3 classrooms 
  • Sentipark: 3 classrooms 
  • Gilbraltar-Strasse: Academic office and 8 classrooms 

You also have free access to the Benedict Language Labs, a great opportunity to practice the languages you are learning! 

State-of-the-art kitchens

Our culinary students have access to seven professional-grade kitchens across three locations. The application kitchens feature individual workstations, allowing students to practice and apply techniques demonstrated at the front, which are also displayed on screens for clear visibility. The production kitchens offer students hands-on experience in both the operation and management of a professional kitchen.

  • Lakeside Campus: three production and application kitchens

  • Limelight kitchens: three kitchens and one classroom

  • City Campus: one production kitchen serving our student restaurant

All-inclusive dining experience

During the week, the City Campus Restaurant serves three meals a day, including a breakfast buffet and a soup and salad bar. Brunch and dinner are served at our Lakeside Campus on weekends, during term breaks and holidays. 

As a school rooted in real-world education, our restaurants also serve as a training ground for hospitality and culinary students, who learn how to perfect the art of service and craft delicious dishes. For a special treat, reserve a table at our fine-dining restaurant (hosted in the Grand Hall at Lakeside Campus) to experience hospitality at its finest. 

Accommodation

Your fees include a shared bedroom accommodating 3-4 individuals. Should you desire more privacy, twin or single room options are available for an extra fee. However, upgrades and specific room assignments are contingent upon availability. It's important to mention that all our rooms are strictly non-smoking for the comfort and well-being of all residents.
