At BHMS, we are committed to developing the next generation of global hospitality leaders. These featured graduates are a true reflection of what our programmes are designed to achieve real-world excellence and long-term professional success.

Elena Raznova

Director of Digital Marketing, Emaar Hospitality Group
Graduate of the MBA in International Hospitality Management

From launching the first TikTok Travel Ads for UAE hotels to delivering an impressive 25 times higher return on ad spend through a new affiliate programme, Elena Raznova is setting new benchmarks in digital marketing innovation. Now responsible for group-level strategy at Emaar Hospitality Group, including its flagship brands Address Hotels + Resorts and Vida Hotels and Resorts, she has led initiatives that resulted in a 16.5% year-on-year increase in organic traffic and a 20.6 times higher ROAS on digital campaigns.

With over 12 years of cross-functional experience in hospitality and marketing, Elena blends operational insight with digital expertise to elevate Emaar’s commercial performance and guest engagement. Her career progression demonstrates the impact a strong academic and practical foundation like that provided at BHMS can have on a graduate's success.

Oussama Mazouzi

Marketing Manager, Our Habitas Ras Abrouq
Graduate of the BA in Hotel and Hospitality Management

Through a combination of cultural storytelling, strategic partnerships, and immersive guest experiences, Oussama Mazouzi has helped position Ras Abrouq as a must-visit destination in Qatar. As Marketing Manager at Our Habitas Ras Abrouq, his efforts have resulted in a 40% organic increase in social media followers and a substantial rise in resort revenue.

One of his most notable achievements was the Ras Abrouq Festival, organised in partnership with Visit Qatar, which attracted over 60,000 visitors; a record for the area. His ability to merge creative direction with business outcomes highlights the strength of his BHMS training and his innovative spirit.

Looking back at my journey, studying at BHMS in Switzerland has had a profound impact on both my personal and professional growth. The Swiss approach to hospitality education, with its strong focus on practical learning, international standards, and discipline, laid a solid foundation for my career in the luxury hospitality industry. Being immersed in such a multicultural environment not only broadened my global perspective but also helped me develop the soft skills and cultural awareness that are essential in today’s hospitality world. The high standards and attention to detail I experienced at BHMS have become second nature in my daily work and have shaped how I approach leadership, guest experience, and brand excellence. Today, as a Marketing Manager at Our Habitas Ras Abrouq by Ennismore, one of the top luxury resorts, I apply the knowledge, mindset, and values I gained during my time in Switzerland. BHMS gave me the tools to think strategically, adapt to global market trends, and communicate effectively. It wasn’t just an education—it was the launchpad for everything I’m achieving today.

Karen Luna

Director of Marketing, Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers
Graduate of the MBA in International Hospitality Management

Karen Luna has revolutionised the marketing strategy at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers with a performance-driven, digital-first approach. Over the past year, she has introduced the hotel’s first-ever YouTube campaign, implemented targeted Google ads for the spa and dining venues, and managed more than 60 paid social media campaigns—each designed to boost engagement and drive conversions.

Her rebranding of the popular ‘Nahaam 2.0’ brunch breathed new life into weekend dining experiences, while improvements to OTA listings and the hotel website have enhanced both visibility and booking rates. With a decade of hospitality experience, Karen’s results-driven mindset and creativity continue to make a measurable commercial impact.

Looking back, my time at BHMS was truly a turning point in my career. The school’s focus on real-world experience, multicultural exposure, and international career placements didn’t just teach me skills, it opened doors and gave me opportunities I wouldn’t have had otherwise. Those experiences shaped my confidence and perspective, and they’ve been a huge part of the journey that’s brought me to where I am today.
